What do we want to achieve by the project?
The aim of the project is to strengthen, expand, disseminate, implement, evaluate, refine, and adapt TESSIE—the Toolbox for Evaluating and Stimulating Social Inclusion in Education. Our goal is to integrate the project’s outcomes at a systemic level within inspectorates, evaluation bodies, and schools across Europe, and to bring them into the policy discourse. Addressing this challenge from the perspective of inspectorates is not only innovative but also a highly effective approach.
 

Which activities are implemented?

• 7 Training activities (4 parts)
       Workshop with the highlights of the (national) educational and supervisor
       Workshops with the input of the invited experts.
       'Peer-training’ or job-shadowing' in schools.
       Reflection sessions.
• Three 'Internet technology' transnational project meetings (start-up, feedback and reflection for creating apps)
• Transnational project meetings (kick-off meeting on site, bimonthly online and a final meeting)
• Making of project deliverables

What are the project results and outcomes?

• ‘International Network Group on (self-)evaluation and stimulation of Social Inclusion in Education’ (INGESSIE) with experts of all target groups (inspectors, evaluators, school leaders, policy makers and support services)
• Scientific evaluated and upgraded TESSIE 2.0 (self-) evaluation framework in French, Spanish, Valencian, Basque, Bulgarian, Serbian, Dutch, English, Estonian and German -à called STESSIE (strengthened TESSIE)
• Professional online platform with application STESSIE
• Training and formation guidelines: see ‘how to use’ & ‘How to read’
• Assessment manuals
